About Rover Gear
Rover Gear is created by Rover, which was founded in 2011 and is the world’s largest network of pet sitters and dog walkers. We took this experience and paired it with input from pet industry experts and feedback from dog walkers in Rover’s global community to create our flagship line of products: Rover Gear.
Every Rover Gear product prioritizes safety, comfort, and ease of use to make walks better for dogs and their people. At Rover, we’re always looking for new ways to make it easier for everyone to have the unconditional love of a pet in their life and Rover Gear is another way for us to deliver on that mission.
We designed our merchandise with input from certified dog trainers and veterinary experts from Rover's Dog People Panel as well as feedback from dog walkers on Rover. The resulting gear is designed to solve pet parents' pain points and includes unique features aimed to make dog walks safer, more comfortable, and more enjoyable for pets and their people.
Each product and feature was thoughtfully designed with safety in mind. After multiple prototypes, fit tests, durability tests and walk tests, we’ve created a line of dog walking gear that prioritizes safety, comfort, and ease of use.
